In the BINETIX® PTM™ System, the accounting operations arise in the context of a specific business process. When working with Bank Documentary Operations the business processes are managed by the respective orders, which apply different actions. Some of these actions may cause accounting operations to be sent to an external accounting system, which must be integrated with the PTM ™.

In the documentation below, we review several groups of actions on Orders for documentary operations, while describing the relationship between the Orders statuses with the statuses of the accounting operations.

1)Accounting operations of an Order to a Documentary Record can be drawn up as follows:

a.A user with the role "Accounting operations" puts the Order in status "For accounting". Preliminary formal validation of the data in the Order is performed and the necessary operations are compiled, depending on the type of the Order and the type of the documentary operation. The operations that are subject to accounting are placed by the System in the status "To Be Processed".

b.When compiling fee operations, only the transactions with the "Due fee" payment option are placed in the "To Be Processed" status.

c.Verifications are performed on the compiled operations. If necessary, manual adjustment can be performed.

2)Compiled operation of an Order to a Documentary Record can be drawn up as follows:

a.A user with the role "Accounting operations" puts the Order in status "To Be Processed". The System performs the operations that are in the status "To Be Processed" into the accounting system.

b.Upon successful processing, the respective operations are placed in the status "Completed".

c.In case of unsuccessful processing, the respective operations are placed in the status "Not approved". Upon successful accounting of all necessary operations, the Order is placed in the status "Accounted". Otherwise, the order is placed in the "Not accounted" status.

In case of correction or cancellation of an Order (with placement in the status "Canceled"), to which there are compiled operations in the status "To Be Processed", the System automatically rejects these operations. They are placed in the status "Canceled", and the fee operation has now changed option for payment without fee. This additional step is necessary to avoid re-compiling and duplicate accounting of  accounting operations.

Users can control accounting operations in the System one by one only (group control is not supported in the current version of the System).

Only one of the following actions can be applied to a selected accounting operation at a time:

a.Change (Correction of transaction data such as amounts and accounts). In operation statuses: „To Be Processed“, „For Information“;

b.Execution of single operations in status „To Be Processed“;

c.Re-execution in status „Not Approved“;

d.Refusal to execute. In operation statuses: „To Be Processed“, „Not Approved“, “To Be Reversed“, “Not Approved (Reverse)“;

e.Re-execution of reversal operation in status “Not Approved (Reverse)“.

The reversal of accounting operations is performed according to the general rules for managing the reversal process in the System.
